Owner, Caretaker

Hi! I am Leah and the owner and caretaker here at Stone House Kennel. Ever since I can remember, I wanted to work with animals, but especially dogs.

My very first job, at age 15 was working at a boarding facility near my hometown of DeRuyter, NY. I worked there for 5 years while in high school and during summer vacations from college. I loved that job and dreamed of one day owning my own boarding business.

After many years of college and working in an insurance agency, my dream was finally realized when my husband Zach, and I purchased our stone house and Stone House Kennels was born.
